Myekeal and Esperanza were just mere acquaintances at Indiana University Bloomington during undergrad. They rekindled their friendship at 16 Bit in Indianapolis on what may or may not have been a date... and have been inseparable since. After dating for about 2 years, Myekeal sneakily planned out the perfect wedding proposal on our first cruise to the Bahamas. He had every aspect of the proposal planned including a decoy promise ring that was given on Valentines Day that year. His plans went arry when the high tides prevented us from the picturesque swing overlooking Half Moon Cay. He began looking for a backup plan to do at sea on the ship but settled with asking her for her hand in marriage in the privacy of their room. She said "Yes", and is excited to marry her fiancé this summer!
